How do you connect a major sporting event with ING Bank, a business that isn’t exactly sporty? kubik’s answer: Make the company’s headquarters look like a giant running shoe, of course. ING’s corporate headquarters soon became the talk of Amsterdam when we transformed the building with a state-of-the-art wrap that showed off ING’s corporate colour. Known locally as “the shoe,” it soon became one of the most talked-about installations in our company history, and photos of it made the covers of hundreds of newspapers throughout Europe. Result: The re-styled building put ING’s indelible stamp on the city’s annual marathon, and the sheer scale of this project put our work on the radar screen for thousands of people every day.
