Heineken PET Bar

Heineken’s new plastic PET bottle was the focus of an installation designed by the brewer’s in-house architect and brought to life by kubik. Created as a traveling event, the Heineken Pet Bar had to have enough impact and excitement to properly introduce the new bottle at major outdoor events and concerts. We designed the new PET Bar around a shimmering wall built entirely from decorative slabs of real ice. Beer was served in PET bottles pulled from large basins filled with ice rather than from traditional industrial coolers, creating a sense of fun and familiarity. Result: The new design transformed standard trusses and other components into a workable traveling event for Heineken, and created a sensation at outdoor events and concerts.
